Another Week without Tim

This week Tim has been out of town, and luckily he is coming home TONIGHT!! We have been having a great week! Praise the Lord. I finished my book Give Them Grace by Elyse Fitzpatrick. I love seeing the 100% on the bottom of the Kindle page. We also had Mom to Mom with our church ladies at the park down the street. We went to Deb's house  for dinner Wednesday night. Timmmy has been learning to ride his bike down humungous hills, and they have been sleeping SO well!!

We got happy mail yesterday; my new iPhone and 86% of our deposit from the old apartment back. Very happy considering one of the tub's finish peeled a little when we removed the grippy mat on the bottom from the suction cups. And a few other little things were scratched or chipped. We lived there exactly 36 months. SO funny, I had no idea it was that spot on to three years.

We also went to the library, and got new books and Target Toddler Totes; boxes with two books, a music CD,  lyric sheet, and glove with foam shapes glued to the fingers all with a theme like tools or black and white or music. Super fun, and great for doing some "school" time with the boys.

This week, the most encouraging verse for me has been 2 Corinthians 12:9  "And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me."

His grace is sufficient; when I have NO  desire to do the physically laborious chores,  or when I have sinned and feel guilty, or when I need  to do a list of things, I just need His grace. That's it.

He knows  we are weak. Or as  Elyse  Fitzpatrick says in her book "Sure, you know you don't get it all the time, and you know that it the point- you need a Savior and you have one. Whew!"
